Semi-Historic is my love letter to the truckers and the legends who built America’s supply chain. As the third-generation of a family trucking company, I am creating this archive to finally give our industry the rich history and respect it deserves.

From the Conestoga Wagons in the early 18th century to the 18-wheelers hauling America today, I want to change the misguided impression so many people (even professionals in the industry) have about trucking. That’s why I’m building this one article and video at a time, all in one place for everyone to learn and enjoy.

Welcome To Semi historic

Series

In 1898, Alexander Winton would create the first semi-truck. Sparking the birth of an industry rooted in the origin stories of the legends before them. From 1898 to 1935, the trucking industry would explode in growth, as America traverses major events like WWI, the Roaring Twenties, Prohibition, and the Great Depression.
